 "After ~30 years of service the last ARCON/GROAC was shut down on 5th August 2020 at SM18. Next to it, the successor taking over, the first fully fledged CROME installation at CERN - including interlocks and alarm transmission. This step became possible thanks to many people involved in maintaining the system over many years and designing a new monitoring system for the next decades." Markus said.
