Over the years, we have met many engineers & scientists carrying out a similar role to ourselves. In discussions, a common comment has emerged, forums across scientific institutes discussing shared experiences and lessons learned in the realm of pulsed field radiation monitoring do not exist. To this end, we have organised a workshop titled PulsRad with the remit of : 1. building a community around pulsed radiation monitoring, 2. providing better communications between facilities creating a network of experts, 3. providing expertise to newer facilities, 4. gaining a greater understanding of each other’s facilities and monitoring approaches taken. The workshop was the first of its kind with talks from different stakeholders, CERN and other facilities. From CERN side, we have shared the trajectory of evolution, practices adopted, lessons learned, and our outlook for the future. This workshop happened on the 5th and the 6th December 2022 with the optional training scheduled on the 7th December. The event was hosted at the Globe of Science and Innovation at CERN.
